A boon in disguise...

When the lockdown began -we put our heads together and decided to be of service by beginning a Initiative we named Chat Potatoes. Like Couch Potatoes but Chat... get it?

We thought, people like us –taken back by the sudden isolation might need a place to come together and connect. Sadly in todays world people seldom know their neighbors, so we thought we’d build that unneighborly experience online. 

Gathering people from our communities we started a successful gathering weekly doing a range of activities and having different conversations to engage the group. 

Our theme remained true to connection with the self and nature but came disguised in more of playful tone. Over the months to come we discussed our understanding of innate knowing – welcomed in connection to ancestors and embraced a bit of art and meditation. Over all we were successful and people were saddened to hear we were putting the event on hold...
